Dia de los Muertos Celebration at The Saskatoon Farm!

Dia de los Muertos translates to Day of the Dead and its an important day in Mexican culture. Typically celebrated on November 1st Dia de los Muertos is a celebration of ancestors who have passed away - the festivities that take place are joyful and help people remember the deceased and celebrate their memory. Many of our team members hail from Mexico, so it's very exciting for us to be hosting a Dia de los Muertos celebration here at the Saskatoon Farm. Our greenhouse will be glowing with Mexican decor, lights, towering tropical plants, good friends, and great music.

- Family-Friendly event! Please note there will be liquor service at this event.
- Event start time and location: The event begins at 6:30 pm in our Main Greenhouse. The rest of the farm will be closed.
- Ticketed Event Only! Tickets must be pre-purchased online! NO WALK-INS!
- Tickets are for admission only - food/ drinks/ any additional items are NOT included in ticket price.
- Live Music: Starts at 7:00 pm. Our DJ will be mixing sounds with traditional and new age Mexican muscia! Make sure to wear your dancing shoes for an evening of celebration!
- Food & Drinks: Fresh grilled tacos & traditional Mexican salsas will be served from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. We'll also be serving Cervezas (Corona, Modelo), Margaritas, Horchata, and Hot Chocolate.
- Local Vendors: with hand-made goodies!
Face Painting: We will have two face painters offering complementary Catrina Style face painting. First-come-first-serve - from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
- Attire: We encourage you to dress up for this event in your best costumes! This doesn't necessarily have to be a Dio de las Muertos costume though! Dress to impress! The best dressed individual will receive a $150 gift card to the farm, and the best-dressed duo will receive two $100 gift cards (one for each).
SECURITY: Large bags will not be permitted - we reserve the right to inspect bags and personnel at the admission booth.

Tables of 10 can be reserved and must be pre-booked through this ticket page. Please select your tickets and proceed to the checkout to add your reserved table of 10.
ARRANGING A RIDE:
We encourage you to enjoy the evening, but please do so repsonsibly! If you are going to be consuming liquor at this event, please ensure that you have arranged a safe ride home. Do not drink and drive!
Uber does not always come out to the farm, however, local Taxi companies will pick up from the farm. Please plan accordingly, and note that we will be allowing overnight parking at the Farm in our overnight parking lot. Please be aware that the Saskatoon Farm cannot be held liable for any potential theft or damage to any personal property that is left on the farm overnight. By parking your vehicle overnight, you release the Saskatoon Farm of any liability.
Please note: From family to staff, we have several families and pets that call the farm their home. Please respect our space and do not venture beyond the event venue.
