U-Pick Update from the Farm, August 13, 2025
It was a busy and beautiful weekend here at the farm! Thank you to everyone who came out — our Sour Cherry and Saskatoon Berry U-Pick season has officially wrapped up.
This weekend, we’re opening:
Greenhouse Grown Tomato U-Pick – $3/lb
Apple U-Pick – $10/bucket
No orchard or entry fee — just pay for what you pick.
Farmers Market
Our Farmers Market is open daily 9–5 and overflowing with freshly picked farm-grown vegetables and sweet BC fruit.
Important Note About Water Use
Our U-Pick fields are irrigated only by natural rainfall, and our vegetables use a separate irrigation system — not connected to the system currently under review. These areas have not been part of any investigation and are safe for harvesting and crop production.
We irrigate using rainwater (both collected and naturally falling). After harvesting, all produce is rinsed with treated well water to remove any soil. This treated water source has been tested and approved by Alberta Health Services.
As always, just like produce from any farmers market or grocery store, we recommend giving everything a final wash at home before enjoying.

As a young boy, Paul fondly remembered canoeing down the river with his family, their paddles gliding through the water as they gathered the sweet abundance of saskatoon berries that grew along the river’s edge.
When he met Karen, the love of his life, the next chapter was clear — to build a home and a life together in the countryside. One of their first acts on the farm was planting a field of saskatoon bushes, a simple yet meaningful family effort.
For years, guests made the trek down the big hill to handpick those precious berries, each bite a cherished taste of the land they called home.

Saskatoon U-pick - season is over
During U-Pick, we are open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No reservation needed — just come on by! It’s first come, first served and open daily while quantities last.
Entry Fee: $2 per person (kids 2 and under are free)
Pricing: $20 per 5 lb bucket or $4 per lb
Note: Please bring your own buckets if you can — it really helps!
During our U-Pick Season you can take home a generous 4L container (approximately 5lbs) of these juicy, flavorful berries. Bursting with natural goodness, they're perfect for snacking, baking, or adding a touch of sweetness to your favourite dishes.
Frozen Saskatoons are available year-round.
5lbs boxes for $32 and 30lb boxes for $165.
