IMPORTANT NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOD SERVICE FACILITIES

Effective Immediately on July 23, 2025:

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has ordered the immediate closure of our food service facilities, including the Restaurant, Bakery, and Red House. This directive will remain in effect until conclusive results are returned from their testing facilities.

We are fully cooperating with AHS and are taking all necessary actions to address the situation and work toward a safe reopening in accordance with their directives. At this time, we do not have any information regarding when our food service facilities will be permitted to reopen. We will continue to keep our patrons informed as we receive further updates from AHS.

Fiesta Friday on July 25 is cancelled.

The Wellness Immersion Event is still scheduled to take place on July 26. No food service. We will have complimentary canned beverages available through the evening.

What Remains Open:

  • Main Front Office

  • Gift Store (including the Buffalo Room)

  • Farmer’s Market Stand — selling fresh, farm-grown produce

Information for our Market Produce: The water used for rinsing our produce is non-potable, and it has been tested and approved by AHS as a satisfactory water source. As per public health guidelines, all produce should be washed thoroughly at home before consumption.

Good News!
Our Saskatoon Berry U-Pick will be open this weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome you out to the farm.

No reservation needed — just come on by! It’s first come, first served and open daily while quantities last.

Entry Fee: $2 per person (kids 2 and under are free)
Pricing: $20 per 5 lb bucket or $4 per lb
Please bring your own buckets if you can — it really helps!

Come enjoy a beautiful day on the farm!

We truly appreciate your understanding and ongoing support during this time.

To Our Valued Guests,

We would like to extend our sincere apologies to anyone who has experienced — or is currently experiencing — flu-like symptoms after dining with us at Saskatoon Farm on Tuesday, July 15th or Wednesday, July 16th.

Since July 15th and 16th we have been made aware of unprecedented changes to our water quality at the farm. The potential issue was brought to our attention on July 17th, and that morning we immediately switched to an alternative water source that has since been deemed Satisfactory by Alberta Health Services (AHS). As an added precaution, from Thursday, July 17th onward, we have only been serving canned and bottled beverages (including water) and using bagged ice from a local retailer.

We take this matter very seriously and are working closely with AHS as part of their investigation. At their direction, we are following all necessary protocols and will continue to cooperate fully.
If you dined with us on July 15th or 16th and have experienced any stomach flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you please contact us at hello@saskatoonfarm.com. Your experience is important to us and will help us support AHS in their investigation.
We will share further information as it becomes available and continue to prioritize the health and safety of our guests above all else.

With care,
The Saskatoon Farm Team

New Restaurant Menu for 2025 Season

We’re proud to have an incredible team here at the farm, many of whom have joined us from Mexico over the years. We've fallen in love with their vibrant food culture and asked them to bring that same passion and energy to our restaurant.

They’ve delivered beyond our expectations! Call it dynamic, we still feature traditional classics like our quiche, juicy burger and hearty soups. Our restaurant is fully licensed and open Monday through Sunday, including holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We’re here to provide a warm, family-friendly dining experience for all.

Do you take reservations at the restaurant?

No, the restaurant operates on a first come, first serve basis - but don’t worry! When you arrive, if there are guests on the waitlist already, the host will add your name and phone number to the waiting list and text you when your table is ready.
