REOPENING ANNOUNCEMENT, August 15, 2025:

We are grateful to share that AHS has officially lifted the closure order for food service areas on the Farm. This includes the Restaurant, Bakery, and Red House.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and steadfast support during this time. We feel for everyone who has been affected by this challenging situation, including both our guests and our staff members.

Although we are cleared to reopen, we’re going to be doing so in stages.

Bakery
Our Bakery will be open right away on Saturday, August 16th. However, there will be a limited offering as we need time to prepare our specialty items. On Sunday, August 17th, we will also be serving our homemade pizza.

Restaurant
Our restaurant will reopen on Monday, August 18th, also with a limited menu. This is simply due to the fact that we need at least one day to prep our food and kitchen area to be able to serve our full menu again.

Red House

The Red House will reopen after this weekend once we have stock again!

Over the past several weeks, our team has worked closely alongside AHS to investigate this situation and rectify the problem — all with the goal of ensuring the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and care for our valued customers.

Our current water supply has been thoroughly inspected, professionally cleaned, and subsequently approved by AHS’s water specialist team to ensure that their standards are being met. AHS is satisfied with the measures that we have taken with our water system and cleaning protocols, and as such, they are allowing us to reopen.

That being said, we are continuing to serve bagged ice as required by AHS. Additionally, although it is not required, we will only be serving canned beverages and bottled water for drinking. All water used for cooking, baking, hand-washing and any prep work is from our potable water source that has been approved by AHS.

In regards to using bagged ice and canned soda at the farm, we have ordered a new fountain pop machine and ice machines, which have not yet arrived. Until that time, we will be operating with bagged ice and canned sodas.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and steadfast support during this time.

We will share information from Alberta Health Services website when they update it.

Sincerely,
The Saskatoon Farm Team

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

We are honoured to be able to provide a destination that allows people to recharge and enjoy the prairies. Please make note of the rules below when planning your trip.

Please enjoy the delicious snacks and drinks from our restaurant and bakery rather than bringing in outside food.

We have many animals who call this farm their home. Please leave your pets at home. Service animals are welcome.

If you’re planning to have a professional photo session at the farm, please first send your inquiry here.

Our Farm is smoke free. Smoking is prohibited during your visit. Please enjoy the fresh air!

During your visit, you will encounter many operational pieces of farm equipment. Please do not sit/climb on, or operate.

Hand picked, and home made — find Saskatoon jam, syrup and raw farm honey in our shop. Like summer in a jar, they make a perfect souvenir or gift.

From scenic vistas to lush greenhouse spaces, the farm is an unforgettable backdrop for your special event.
