IMPORTANT NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOD SERVICE FACILITIES

Effective Immediately on July 23, 2025:

We want to take a moment to address the recent update shared by Alberta Health Services regarding the outbreak associated with our farm. This closure came into effect on July 23 and applies to our Restaurant, Bakery, and Red House and remains in effect.

This has been an unprecedented and deeply difficult situation for us. Our hearts are with everyone who has been affected, and we are truly sorry for the impact this has had. This has been a challenging time, and our thoughts are with everyone affected. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work closely with Alberta Health Services.

We’re fully cooperating with AHS and taking all necessary steps to resolve this quickly and safely. While we don’t have a reopening date yet, we’re committed to keeping you updated every step of the way.

We are also in the process of installing a new water system to further improve safety and quality. We’ll keep you informed and share all the details once it successfully passes AHS inspection and receives approval.

Important Note About Water Use for our U-pick and Farmers Market:

Our Upick fields are irrigated only by natural rainfall, and our vegetables use a separate irrigation system — not connected to the system currently under review. These areas have not been part of any investigation and are safe for harvesting and crop production.

We irrigate using rainwater (both collected and naturally falling). After harvesting, all produce is rinsed with treated well water to remove any soil. This treated water source has been tested and approved by Alberta Health Services.

As always, just like with produce from any farmers market or grocery store, we recommend giving everything a final wash at home before enjoying.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

We can’t wait to see you at the farm!

We are honoured to be able to provide a destination that allows people to recharge and enjoy the prairies. Please make note of the rules below when planning your trip.

Please enjoy the delicious snacks and drinks from our restaurant and bakery rather than bringing in outside food.

We have many animals who call this farm their home. Please leave your pets at home. Service animals are welcome.

If you’re planning to have a professional photo session at the farm, please first send your inquiry here.

Our Farm is smoke free. Smoking is prohibited during your visit. Please enjoy the fresh air!

During your visit, you will encounter many operational pieces of farm equipment. Please do not sit/climb on, or operate.

Hand picked, and home made — find Saskatoon jam, syrup and raw farm honey in our shop. Like summer in a jar, they make a perfect souvenir or gift.

From scenic vistas to lush greenhouse spaces, the farm is an unforgettable backdrop for your special event.
